Board of Directors
The affairs of the Institute are managed by a Board of Directors. Directors are at least 18 years of age and a minimum of 2/3 must be members of the Institute. The Board strives in its composition to represent gender balance, linguistic and ethno-cultural diversity, fundraising expertise, business, legal, marketing and financial management skills, along with university/research linkages, development and delivery of learning programs, and representation from communities of interest served by the Institute.
The Board of Directors is first and foremost a governance body providing oversight and strategic direction to the Institute. Each director is also encouraged to volunteer time to assist the Institute in its operations.
