Pamela Jones (Director) is a bilingual senior policy professional with over twenty-five years of experience influencing policies, regulations and legislation in the private and public sectors.
Trained as a paralegal and as a mediator/facilitator, Pamela holds undergraduate degrees in Communications and Political Science from the University of Ottawa; a graduate diploma in Conflict Resolution from Carleton University and a Masters of Law from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. In addition to the undergraduate and graduate level education, Pamela graduated top of her class from the Ontario Business College as a Law Clerk/Paralegal and has completed certificates in financial literacy, governance, and teaching. Pamela is a member in good standing of the ADR Institute of Ontario and holds a qualified mediator designation.
A strong community supporter, Pamela supports a number of local and national charities such as Community Mediation Ottawa (as mediator, facilitator and conflict coach), the Ottawa Food Bank, 100 Women who Care Ottawa, CHEO, United Way and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Pamela is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution.
