À propos de l'événement

The Right Use of the Power – Using Power to Create Positive Change.

In a world in turmoil, it is easy to associate power with the abuses of power we witness daily in our personal and professional lives, politics, the news, and social media. This is not only disheartening, but it erodes our trust.

Yet when power is paired with wisdom, compassion, and courage, it becomes the ability to initiate positive change. The Right Use of Power is power with ethics. It provides us with the view and the tools to move toward a greater understanding of power dynamics and self-awareness of our use of power.

This interactive and experiential workshop introduces the basic principles of the Right Use of Power. It includes talks and practical exercises. Participants are asked to bring a “power object” (i.e. scarf, stone, artifact or any object that is meaningful to them and gives them a sense of confidence and pride).

Where love rules, there is no power, and where power predominates, there love is lacking....  The one is the shadow of the other.” - Carl Gustav Jung.
