Iman Ibrahim

Iman Ibrahim is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in conflict resolution and spirituality. As the former Executive Director of the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution (CICR), she played a pivotal role in advancing the field of conflict resolution.


Currently, Iman's focus lies in providing Leadership and Conflict Coaching and Training, empowering individuals to navigate challenges and improve relationships. Additionally, she offers Soulful Guidance for Life and Relationships, utilizing her expertise in spirituality, soul evolution, and quantum healing.


Iman's impressive career includes significant contributions in both academic and practical spheres. She has worked at the Ombudsperson Office at the University of Ottawa and collaborated with private businesses. Her educational achievements include a master's degree in International Affairs and Conflict Resolution, a CICR Third-Party Neutral certificate, a bachelor's degree in Humanities and Religion, and certification as a Certified Coach Practitioner.


Beyond her professional endeavors, Iman has been deeply involved in leading projects centered around peace-building, multiculturalism, and dialogue. Her passion for fostering understanding and reconciliation is evident in her authorship of several papers, including her latest work "Creative Dialogue Between Muslim and Western Worlds Towards Reconciliation and Addressing Violent Extremism," published in the book "Transforming: Applying Spirituality, Emergent Creativity, and Reconciliation," edited by Vern Neufeld Redekop and Gloria Neufeld Redekop.


Iman's commitment to peace advocacy extends to her role as the co-chair of the Ottawa Chapter of the Canadian Peace Initiative for 12 years, advocating for a Federal Department of Peace in Canada.
